Fiorentina have reportedly shut the door on Manchester United’s hopes of signing Nikola Milenkovic this month.
It had been reported that United were willing to offer Andreas Pereira in exchange for Milenkovic, however Fiorentina.it claims to have been told by the club that ‘the defender won’t move in January’.
The website explains the Serbian will see the season out at the Artemio Franchi however doesn't rule out a summer switch, even if he's likely to command ‘a very high valuation of around €50m’.
The 21-year-old joined the Viola from Partizan Belgrade in the summer of 2017 and has gone on to cement himself as the club’s first-choice right-back, although he may play in central defence.
United meanwhile, are apparently on the lookout for a new right-back as Antonio Valencia is being linked with inter.
