CHELSEA might end up signing Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson without Maurizio Sarri knowing concerning the deal, claims Liverpool legend Phil Thompson.
Chelsea boss Sarri made the surprising admission earlier this week he wasn't aware Christian Pulisic was joining the club.
The Blues have signed Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund for a fee of around £58million and have loaned the USA international back for the rest of the season.
On the signing, Sarri said: “I don’t know. I didn’t know anything regarding Pulisic on Tuesday.
The club asked my opinion regarding him about one month ago. My opinion was positive.
Maybe Callum Wilson will come and so they’ll tell Sarri that they’ve really signed him.

Today i have known that the deal is completed but I didn’t know anything.”
Wilson has been connected with a move from
Bournemouth as Sarri appears to strengthen his attacking options.
But Thompson wouldn't be stunned if the england international completed a deal without the head coach knowing.
I would like to think so [Chelsea would back Sarri in the window],” Thompson said
