The soap opera involving Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has taken another twist with the player growing ever more sad as Barcelona linger in the background.
The 23-year-old didn't travel with the squad for Sunday night's 2-2 draw away to Bordeaux as he also didn't attend the team's final training session before match.
This was understood to Rabiot rebelling against the club as he seeks an exit from the French capital.
He had a discussion last week with coach Thomas Tuchel that concluded up stoking the fire, and this was followed by jeers from his own supporters during the Champions League win over Liverpool .
Rabiot is seeking a ten million euro earnings to remain at PSG and it appears that given his attitude problems, it's growing more and more unlikely that he can catch on.
Meanwhile Barcelona are watching the situation fastidiously as they have had a keen interest in the Frenchman in the past .
